Hi Pete, Yep mostly my work about 10 yrs worth. Had it running for first time in march. Its fitted with hilborn fuel injection which is controlled by a accell gen 7 engine management system. This has to be set up on a rolling rd unfortunately the rolling rd I went to did not have much ideal. I then went to John Sleath racing top man he got the engine management spot on but by this time engine damage had happened with first guy. The heads have had to be rebuilt new Vvs seats etc. Hopefully will start to put back together next weekend with view to be on the road next spring, but said that in march so who knows. Its not been a good year wife's van (fastlaine) was side swipe by prat on motor bike so have had no ride at all. Your super snipe looks cool I'm looking forward to seeing it. We go to the BHRA meets some times may be catch up with you there. Geoff

I wish my Humber looked like that Geoff, having a few niggles with mine, lost my brakes for the 2nd time in 2 months, rear hubs are leaking as is the engine. Thats a lovely bit of motor you've got in that, when you get her on the road would there be any chance of a blast up the road with you? i just want to know what a sorted Humber V8 goes like, well worth those years spent on her she's COOL!!

Your welcome for a ride but the fastest its been is on trailer. I had a 63 hawk when I started build and have also broken a few humbers for spares. I've got a new head gasket set and some bearings, seals ect. Invicta roadsters have two members with humbers and there was a gasser being build by one of the bhra. Hopefully my wife's van will be back from repairers this week so will try to get to next bhra meet.
