Usually its a saturday I go see my buds Mac,Shaggy, Paul N Chris but it was a sunny day, and I wanted to fiddle with the wiring on the manta so I went today. Pulled up and saw this A tasty looking E type Went into the bay, and was immediately voted 'tea slag' - usual thing Put the kettle on, and said E type was kicked up, and I went out and watched it slowly rolling into MOT land Tea done, and Paul (in foreground) sat and watched it going through the brake test it was a bit over the place, so Mac kicked a tyre under the back wheel and tried to hold it down to stop it whipping about A seized front caliper was the prob, Then the rears, with mac looking on then it had probs getting out the brake tester, spun the wheels like bugger until finally it popped out Mac and Shaggy trying to find the two bonnet pulls !! Now theres a dashboard!! Just about fitted on the ramp, the track on these are so narrow, had 2 inches either side of falling of the inner sides of the ramp According to Mac, the guy had just brought it for £28 grand with no MOT!! New pipes mind!! Shaggy testing the sills Gorgeous aint it!! Did have a pic of the engine, but its buggered off somewhere Failed on a seized caliper and horn not working, of which I guess run it a bit and the caliper will free off Was a fine hour or so of getting close and personal to a great British classic
