I just wanted to let you know about a Scam I had tried on me, I am selling my PT Cruiser on ebay and had an email from someone asking if they can buy it now and that they had an agent picking the car up on their behalf. I agreed a price with them and they then sent an email asking for my PayPal address to make a payment to me. I then got another email to say that they had made a payment but had included fees for their agent who could not take payment via PayPal and could I then forward £250 of the money they sent me via Western Union to their agent. DO I LOOK LIKE A C*NT. I got in touch with PayPal who confirmed that they have not had any payments and it was a scam. Interestingly the guy at Paypal told me that if someone is collecting an item from you in person do not let them pay for it via PayPal take cash from them as they could come and collect the item from you and then retract the payment leaving you with no money and no goods either. If you are posting the items its ok to take a paypal payment as its protected by them.
