I thought I would post this here for those who have computer time for whatever reason, to read and also please add if you knoow gguys who tend to build a lot of cars.
Modern and old can fit here, it is more about the fact that some people are just really good and building or sorting car after car.
Now for some pics of Thorsten cars, he owns every one of them, and has a huge barn on a farm where they get stored.
I know he has several in reserve too.
The red number plates you will notice repeating..... they are "historical" plates and you can register and drive IIRC up to 9 cars , or is it 6 on the same plate in Germany, after they have been found roadworthy and totally original by the TuV inspectorate.
Of course, once inspected, they never get inspected again, which is when the modifying gets done.
Thorsten also does all his own body work and paint, as well as the engine conversions etc.... he is a mechanic by trade.
I will post the build thread links for each one too, should keep you busy
Also go look at FoMoCo Wrecking Crew and look in the left hand side for all the vars and vans they have for individual galleries.... just navigate about.
The bus in question
