What's the worst modification or accessory that you've fitted to your car when you were younger? We've all done it, you're young and you thought it looked good, but looking back you wished you never did it. My worst was a massive yellow 'Max Power' sticker in the rear screen, and a Knight-Rider light in the front bumper. Oh I seem to remember a little 'On A Mission' sticker in the front screen. What was this nastiness fitted to? A Mini-Metro 1.3L 5-door in a fetching shade of light metallic blue. To win back a few cool points, I did have one of the original Kiss 100 stickers in there too What're yours???

I had a HB Viva and in a bid for a better exhaust note chopped out one if the silencer boxes and then realized that the only bit if pipe that I had that fitted was a length of scaffold tube !!!!Yep you've guessed, on it went ! Lol Sounded good ( so I thought back then ) but still had the little pea shooter tail pipe though ! Lol This along with the with the (then obligatory)rear fog light lighting the underside of the car and my Harry Moss digital rev-counter, Mounty steering wheel and a pare of bucket seats gave me a very cool ride !!!! Lol Well I liked it and do still keep an eye out for a 2 door HB ( Not many left now!) Must be my mid life crisis !

Oh back in the naive world of youth, I had a old Rover SD1 and towing a pal back from somewhere, he decided to give it a jump start at 40mph, pulled my Watts linkage apart, No prob - still had my mecanno set... with a few bolts and strips, fixed..kinda?? That and making up stupid large fins on my FD Victor when I was 18, should have a old pic somewhere, I'll go find it...
