Here you have "Myrtle" a 1956 Ford Anglia 100E with coveted 3 Bar Grille.
Still on her Original Number Plate, which has been valued quite highly by Registration plate traders.
Chrome is in Excellent condition.
The car belongs to my wife and is her baby. Bought for her as a gift some years ago. We also have an imported ex-German Fire tender, 1963 Ford Taunus Transit van with 1800cc Zetec engine that will be for sale.
Both cars being sold to make space in the garage and to finance the purchase of an early 60's Chevy C10 Pickup Truck to tow our Teardrop caravan with, to shows etc.
The car is in good original condition. Starts, stops, drives as expected.
Head lights, Brake lights, indicators, hooter, handbrake, windscreen wipers, all work.
It still has the original rubber mat as well, we were going to add carpets, then realized originality was preferred.
Being a Pre-1960 car, she no longer needs a MOT test to be done and also benefits from FREE Road tax and low classic insurance rates.
I have made two short YouTube video clips, linked below, to help you decide if you want to come take a look and start kicking tyres.
A mug of tea, some biccies and the attention of 3 cats are also on offer.
More photos available by request, but I recommend an inspection in person. Probably and ideal starter classic, or good base for something more impressive.
The car has been extensively Waxoyled into every nook and cranny, with excess wiped away on flat paint surfaces.
Being 57 years old, she has some small scars, and a bit of rust in the C-Pillar, see Video.
Contact us to arrange a viewing should you be interested in buying this car at the price advertised.
Alternately, contact us for more info.
Please do go look at Ebay, and various forums and for sale sites to get an idea of the value of these little cars.
This car is far from perfect, but a very good example of a Ford Anglia 100E
Myrtle is currently SORN'd as she is a summer girl.
