Check out the description for item number 321105908648 on ebay and tell me what you think ? I can see how on some newly built cars DVLA can deny the owner the regional reg number but how the hell can the DVLA take the reg number from a rod that has been on the road every summer for the last seven years and give it to someone else just because one is modified and the other isn't ? Would they do this without any further investigation if it was two £70k Range Rovers etc ? I THINK NOT !!!!

The thing is how do you challenge something like that ? If it were me I'd want to fight it but where would you start ? They are a law unto them selves! You have to ask your self if this is the back door to f*****g us all with existing modified vehicles ? As I said before if they were newer vehicles they would want to investigate why there were two people claiming to have the same registration details ! Is this the turning point for the popularity of the Q plate I wonder ?

Certainly sounds like it , I dunno a 1955 plate? - gotta be worth a few grand could be their new money spinner and I wouldnt have a clue how to fight the DVLA I would have to start that the car was built it 1955 and was designated the plate it came with, so it I imagine in the eyes of the law theft
