Ok sold the Tina for a rather harsh sum of £1550 - well say sold its in the balance as the guy who won it sent me a message asking me if I could wait until he sold his VW then he would collect her i said hell no So he thusly said he will pick her up nxt friday no deposit?? The guy who was in contact with me pretty much every day was at work when it finished and was quite pissed off he was out bid he mailed me today and offered to give me his newly acquired opel manta plus just to get it www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121084811204link to the manta Now how do I go about turning down the highest bidder? Just my luck the highest bidder is on the BHRA site  ;D |

Well the way I'd play it would be to argue that he should have asked the questions about payment and collection before the auction had ended.
In my experience when someone wants you to wait without offering a deposit they never turn up !
If you want the Manta then I'd do the deal but save all the messages from the other guy just in case.
What's the worst that can happen, you get bad feedback ?
Even then you get the opportunity to post a reply and I don't think anyone would expect you to wait for him to sell his VW before completing the transaction.

Well cancelled the transaction thru fleabay messaged said custard tart no reply as yet Will be doing the do with the Manta soon dunno why, Moving house soon, but rather do that than send her to an illiterate person of low intellect who assumes I can wait till he sells his motor before I get any joy  |

Runs like a dream
needs lowering a tad and some decent allys
but as a part ex and some money my way it was a good deal
Got my eye on a Pontiac Grand prix, a friend of a friend wants to sell it
but cant really have it till I move house!!
